Google Algorithm updates
Last month online, I have read about “Mayday” where many SEO webmasters are criticizing Google new updates-Algorithms which seems to change daily. Because of constant changes we shouldn’t concentrate on a few Algorithm update changes but the reason that Google has for those changes. With Google SERP redesign, which gives users more options for filtering their results the importance of ranking in a natural, organic search, has become unstable over time. It’s getting harder to rely on. It’s recently confirmed by Google that “Mayday” Algorithm updates are official. Those updates are targeting the large websites with long tail keywords the most. It’s the ranking factor that changed not the indexing factor which also means that Google Spider is indexing all web pages giving the most importance to high quality sites with long tail keywords. Consider changing your long tail keywords if you experience down fall of positioning for certain keywords phrases.
Right now we can’t rely on Google rankings alone to drive our traffic. We have to take Social media opportunities to reach more Traffic. This is why social media: Facebook and Twitter have become so attractive
But I know for sure that relevancy is still in charge. So in order to avoid a ranking turbulence don’t pay a mind on those little Algorithm changes, but concentrate on relevancy and freshness of your site.
